High School Skinny Scam

When it comes to weight loss, many people are looking for an easy way to lose weight.  The sad reality is there is no easy way.  There is a massive industry of con men and women that are out there looking to take advantage of you with false claims and testimonials for their scam weight loss products. “Losing weight is rarely easy, and it would be a miracle if a pill made it so,” said Jessica Rich, Director of the FTC’s Bureau of Consumer Protection. You should always avoid any company that makes these types of easy weight loss claims.

The company I want to take a look at today that has made these types of claims is HealthyLife Sciences with their Healthé Trim supplements.  Let’s see what we find out about them.

HealthyLife Sciences High School Skinny Scam Reality

HealthyLife Sciences Healthé Trim supplements were sold online and at CVS, GNC, and Walgreens for up to $65 for a month’s supply.

In radio and television ads, Dwyer and HealthyLife Sciences claimed Healthé Trim was clinically proven to cause weight loss, and would suppress users’ appetites and boost their metabolisms to help them lose weight without exercising or changing their daily routine. They used the tagline “Get High School Skinny,” and included testimonials from consumers who claimed that the weight was just “falling off.”

In scientific studies Healthé Trim Products were no more effective than a placebo in causing weight loss. Two clinical trials showed no statistically significant differences in weight loss between the test groups taking Healthé Trim Original Formula and test groups taking a placebo.  – Source FTC

HealthyLife Sciences High School Skinny Scam Conclusion

John Matthew Dwyer, the co-founder of HealthyLife Sciences used false advertising to take peoples money with Healthé Trim supplements.  In my opinion you should avoid this company and their weight loss supplements.

If a product promises weight loss without effort and sacrifice, it’s bogus. A 30-day, no questions asked money back guarantee does not mean the product is not a scam. There are so many companies that wish to take your money with products that are no more effective than a Placebo.  Don’t allow them to do this.
