3×5 Matrix Compensation Plan
A Matrix compensation plan is described by its width and depth. For example a 3 x 5 matrix. With a 3×5 matrix you are required to sponsor 3 people and you will get paid down to 5 levels deep in your organization.
With a 3×5 matrix you have a fixed number of people that you can have in the first row of the matrix: 3. If you sponsor more people, they will be positioned under one of your existing people. This is called spill over.
Once you have recruiting your first three people, you need to change your focus to getting others to recruit people.
Number of people at each level:
Level 1 (3)
Level 2 (9)
Level 3 (27)
Level 4 (81)
Level 5 (243)
Total = 363
