Friends and internet neighbors, there have recently been a lot of people that have been complaining about iMarketsLive. Complaints have ranged from a lack of commission payments to complaints about the CEO Christopher Terry. There was even a warning that briefly appeared on businessforhome.org. My subscribers have requested that I take a look into this money making opportunity. Here is what I have found.
The tragedy of the MMM scam continues to play out in South Africa in slow motion. MMM scam members organized a Financial Freedom Awareness campaign on April 27, 2016, coinciding with South Africa’s Freedom Day. They took this opportunity to spread awareness about MMM and its schemes, countering the media’s view of MMM as a pyramid scheme, fleecing money from its investors.
A fellow Scam Buster TaraTalks was threatened with a lawsuit by My Advertising Pays on February 25th, 2016. Many believe this lawsuit was just an attempt to try and give some legitimacy to the business they are running. My Advertising Pays filed the lawsuit against TaraTalks on April 6th, 2016.
In not so surprising news, the MMM Global Ponzi scheme has collapsed. Back on November 5th of 2015 I warned people about this scam. I hope people will learn something from their experience with this scam and will not fall for the same lies in the future. No matter how "honest" a Ponzi scammer seems they will take your money.
Go Aspire, formerly Aspire Worldwide, has gone into insolvency. This has happened just a few months after investors’ exchanged their "franchises" for shares in the company. Founders Andrew Terence Hansen, 47, Wendy May Hansen, 45, Philip Gordon Watts, 68, and Sally Anne Watts, 52 can't be reached. It is estimated that over 5 Million dollars has been lost.
Betting on Zero is a movie made about the battle between Bill Ackman and Herbalife. It is part of the Tribeca Film Festival. This should be well worth watching. I hope it makes it to Netflix in the near future. If you are in the New York area, you can pick up tickets now to watch it. For more than three years, Bill Ackman, the founder of $12 billion Pershing Square Capital, has been trying to reveal the truth about Herbalife, most of their distributors lose as the company brings in over a billion dollars a year.
In an odd turn of events Ted Nuyten of businessforhome.org published an expose that falsely names Michael Turton as the blogger known as Oz from BehindMLM. This seems to be a direct attack by Ted Nuyten against Oz because of negative reviews of Network Marketing companies by BehindMLM.
The parade of people coming and going at the top of the Empower Network scam continues. First there was Dave Sharpe, Vick Strizheus, and now Chris Jones. The Empower Network has been on a slow decline in popularity for some time, but it seems to be accelerating recently. This may explain the exit of Chris Jones for greener pastures.
Herbalife is in talks with the FTC regarding a probe of the company's business practices and said that the outcome of the talks are uncertain. Is the FTC finally going to take action? Can Herbalife fast talk their way out of this? It has been a long fight with many revelations about how Herbalife runs their business.
The lazy Man and Money blog has been sued by Le-Vel for an opinion piece on the products and business opportunity they offer. When you speak out about the prevalent MLM business opportunity scams that are out there, you live in constant fear that this may be the day that your financial future comes to an end. That day may have come for the Lazy Man and Money blog.
